Whenever the player decides to use it, it is best to increase it only once in between character levels. Like Piety, this skill is more effective the longer a player waits to invest, but smart use can also help cut down on mid-game grinding for level or SP benchmarks. Each time the character's Effort level increases, the experience they need to reach their next level (and only that next level) is reduced by half. Effort: Based on its description of reducing experience needed to level up, this would seem to be one of the most powerful skills in the game, but it is misleading.Because the bonus is random, and very high levels are rarely reached in normal play, it is safe to ignore this skill in most contexts. ![]() This bonus is percentage-based, and therefore more powerful when the character is already at a high level.
